Doing Great Update!

Jared and I are still having a great time off work with Jaxon. He has been such a wonderful baby. We've been fortunate so far with how easy we've all adapted to each other. We couldn't be more happy with him here in our lives!

Yesterday, Jaxon had his first actual submerged bath. He seemed to love it. There were no whimpers or tears... just a few cute pictures!

Gramdma Jo is still here visiting from Ohio. She has been such a great help. Jared and I have had a homemade cooked dinner every night thanks to her! It has been such a blessing to have her here. Now, we just have to get her out here for good!

We miss you all and send our hugs and kisses your way! Hope everyone is doing well.

Our New Obsession!

Grandma Jo recently purchased Jared and I an amazing camera to capture all the precious little moments of Jaxon. Now we can share the fun with all of you. Here are just a few to get you all started. We will be getting better and better with practice and there is no better subject that I can think of to practice on!

He's Here!

We've been so anxious to post this blog to brag about Jaxon, but we just can't seem to take our attention away from him! Jaxon William Wicks arrived on Saturday August 9th, 2008 at 1:05pm.

He was delivered via C-Sect weighing a healthy 7lbs 14oz. He was 19 inches long and excited to see his new world. Jaxon was welcomed by Great Grammy, Grammy and Pappa Wicks.  It was the happiest day of Jared's and my life. Thank you all for your love and support. It was great to have you by our side.

We got to go home from the hospital on Monday night. We were so excited for our first car ride and to let Jaxon get accustomed to his new surroundings. We've been settling in and learning about each other ever since.

Grandma Jo arrived on Tuesday night to meet her first grandson. She and Grammy Wicks have been a huge help for Jared and me. A great big thanks goes out to the both of you!

We wish we lived a little closer to share our bundle of love and joy with you all. For now, we will keep you posted with lots of pictures and stories!
